Learn to Dance
At Geelong Salsa we pride ourselves in creating a wonderful community of dancers where we don't just have students but great friends! Our weekly Latin nights combine group dance classes with dedicated time for social dance practice where we aim to teach you not only how to dance but also to LOVE to dance! Our experienced instructors specialise in the partnered Street Latin Dance styles of Salsa, Rueda de Casino and Bachata (Moderna and Sensual) with weekly group dance classes from Absolute Beginners up to an Intermediate/Advanced level. Each of these dance styles is easy to learn and great fun to dance!
START AT ANY TIME
All our group dance classes operate on an ongoing casual attendance basis meaning you are welcome to attend your first class as early as this week (just turn up - no booking required - pay as you go).
WE LOVE BEGINNERS
Our beginner Latin dance classes are designed to teach you the basic steps. Great if you have never danced before or simply new to the style. Learn at your own pace and only progress to the next class level once you feel comfortable.
NO PARTNER? NO WORRIES!
During each lesson we will partner you up with someone at your level and we also rotate partners frequently. If you bring your own partner you are welcome to dance exclusively together or not, the choice is yours.
OUR VENUE
The Christ Church Hall offers a relaxed social atmosphere for dancing in the heart of Geelong. Air conditioned with a purpose built dance floor. Entry is via the doors off Little Myers Street.
